As we transition into the holiday season, I want to take a moment to reflect on all that we are grateful for at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Oakland (BGCO). This time of year reminds us of the strength and generosity of our community—the families who trust us to support their children, the staff who work tirelessly to create safe and enriching spaces, the volunteers who give so selflessly, and the donors whose contributions make our mission possible.

Your generosity enables us to provide stability, high-quality programs, and a safe haven where Oakland’s youth feel valued, heard, and loved. It empowers us to nurture their dreams and help them reach their full potential.

As the holiday season unfolds, we remain focused on our core mission: to inspire and enable young people, especially those who need us most, to become productive, caring, and responsible citizens. While this time of year brings moments of joy and celebration, we know it can also bring challenges for many.
