IN TOUCH: Summer 2024

Super Summer Programs are in full swing here at Boys & Girls Clubs of Oakland (BGCO); Clubs are alive with our youth completing STEM focused programing, nailing the Summer Reading Challenge, going on field trips, and forming new friendships on the basketball court! Thanks to you, BGCO is able to provide exciting programs to our youth this summer.

Robotics and coding at BGCO

This summer, BGCO offers free robotics and coding classes for our Oakland youths to find their passion in STEM fields. These activities expose our kids to technology, computer skills, and the ability explore careers in robotics.

Our members are exposed to musical instruments and getting hands on experience playing drums!

Arts and Crafts

Kids are finding their inner Picasso by engaging in arts and crafts, building model bridges, and exploring their artistic side!

Summer Fun

Summer is the time to explore, and our kids are doing just that. From going to the Oakland A’s game to exploring rides at Six Flags, BGCO kids are enjoying their summer to the fullest because of you!
