Thanks to the generous donation from Panda Cares Foundation in partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to remodel our Education Center at our Anna Marie Whalen Branch located in High Street, Oakland. We are extremely excited and honored to receive this award in our effort to provide safe and positive after school spaces for Oakland kids and teens to fulfill their academic goals.

Project Learn

Project Learn is a Boys and Girls Club movement wide approach that reinforces and enhances the skills and knowledge young people learn at school during the hours they spend at the Club. BGCO’s Education and Career Development Programs utilizes Project Learn to enable youth to become proficient in basic educational disciplines, apply learning to everyday situations, and embrace technology to achieve success in career. Thanks to Panda Cares Project Learn fund for enabling BGCO to continue providing its valuable educational services (tutoring, mentoring, graduation and college prep) to Oakland kids and teens. Thank you for making our kids’ academic dream come true!
